Our Goal Achieved!
Oct 7/2011 - A long night but our goal to see Dalton McGuinty re-elected as the Premier for the province of Ontario was achieved. Despite being just shy of a 3rd majority we are confident that Premier McGuinty will illustrate how a minority government can work in Ontario. The OPFFA would like to thank all of our members who became engaged and worked on campaigns during this election and we congratulate all members who were elected last night.

A long day winds down at the Toronto Local union meeting

Sept 26/2011 - The OPFFA Fire Fighters for RV finished the day with an appearance at the Toronto Local general meeting. Monte Kwinter the MPP and Liberal candidate for the area dropped in for a few words directly with the Toronto members. President LeBlanc then addressed the meeting about the provincial election, what's at stake and the importance of voting as a fire fighter and participating on a campaign.
Next 2 stops included Dr. Hoskins and David Zimmer

Sept 26/2011 - Following a literature drop from Dr. Eric Hoskins (Dr. Hoskins was called away for an unscheduled debate and thus not available for a photo) we made our fourth and final campaign stop of the day at David Zimmer's office. After a photo with his campaign team we dropped lit in a poll with a great young campaign volunteer - thanks Moe!
A great campaign office stop and presser with Laura Albanese
A packed day in Toronto
